HDMI 2.1 uses the same Type-A connector as HDMI 2.0 but replaces TMDS with FRL (Fixed Rate Link) for 48Gbps bandwidth. Supports 8K/120Hz, 4K/144Hz, VRR, ALLM, QFT, QMS, and eARC.
